While reading through my favorite blogs this afternoon, I noticed that a couple of crafty ladies are celebrating birthdays this week. What do you give someone you've never met, but who visits your home almost everyday, inspiring you with her humor, wisdom, talent and creativity? How about a commemorative blog post? So, here goes...

Hellow again! I've had a delightful time reading your posts. I do feel like I know you well by now - almost like and old friend. It's been like we settled into a couple of comfy chairs with a cup of tea and a "biscuit" or two (when drinking tea it seems just right to call our cookies "biscuits) and chatted away about our mutual love - quilts. A big thank you to my friend Kathie - who wrote the comment directly above this one and who also directed me to your blog this morning.
You can congratulate yourself on doing one thing perfectly from the very beginning - blogging. Each post is like a delightful, small piece of literature illustrated with beautiful photos and served up for our pleasure and enjoyment. I've been so busy re-decorating, etc. and getting ready for the quilt show, I haven't been in to see you blog lately. What a delight to find so many beautiful things to see. I haven't seen some of these in years and it was very heart warming!
