I've been playing around with setting options for my denim and flannel Roman Stripe blocks. Here's a slideshow I made, illustrating several different quilt layouts.

  2. What a lot of options you came up with. I wouldn't know where to start to come up with the slide show like you did and, if I did, it would certainly be by chance.

  3. What an awesome way to audition the different setting options! I like Barn Raising, especially if you're going to have this one machine quilted. I love blocks like this that offer so many possibilities...

  4. Ooh - I also like the Straight Furrows option! After finishing the video, do you have one option you like better than the others? I can't wait to see the what you decide to do! Don't you love how many options there are with the exact same block?

We actually just created a tool online where quilters can plan quilt layouts similar to what you just did without even needing your tech skills with the photo editing software and other programs. You can play around and try any number of combos for any of the 200+ quilt blocks for free online at Quiltivate.com!

  5. It was definitely hit and not miss with that production. I haven't gotten that techy yet.

I'm glad you are working on that quilt again.

this was fun and i'll have to replay it but i think i liked the broken dishes setting the best . . .
